Update: Empower Her Access – Applications Now Closed

Thank you for the overwhelming interest in the Empower Her Access initiative.

Applications for sponsored places at the Meat Business Women National Conference are now closed. We received a strong response from across the sector, with applications from women working in regional communities, small businesses, early-career roles and many other areas of the industry.

As the number of sponsored places available through Empower Her Access is limited, we have now closed the application process while our selection panel reviews submissions.

Successful applicants will be contacted shortly.

We are incredibly encouraged by the level of interest in this initiative and the stories shared by women across the meat and food supply chain. It reinforces the importance of creating opportunities for women to connect, learn and grow within our industry.

Creating Opportunities for Women Across the Sector

We know that some women face barriers that make attending the conference challenging, whether that’s financial constraints, travel costs or limited support from their workplace. Empower Her Access exists to change that.

This initiative gives women the chance to be sponsored to attend the conference, including support for their ticket, flights, accommodation and ground transfers. Our goal is to ensure more women have the opportunity to learn, connect and grow through this event.

Who Can Apply

We invite applications from women across the sector who:

• Would not normally be able to attend due to financial or geographic limitations

• Are early in their career, running small businesses, studying or working in regional or remote areas

• Want to grow their networks, confidence and leadership capability

• Can share how attending the conference would benefit them personally and professionally

How Recipients Are Selected

Applications are assessed on:

• Personal circumstances and the barriers preventing attendance

• Desire to learn, connect and grow professionally

• How attending the conference will support their career goals

You do not need to hold a particular job title or have years of experience. We want to hear your story and why this opportunity matters to you.
