Meat Business Women's Gender Representation Report 2026

Prepare Now: Shape the Future of Gender Representation in Global Food and Meat Manufacturing

In 2026, Meat Business Women will launch the third edition of the Global Gender Representation Report — the definitive global study tracking gender balance across the meat and food manufacturing industries.

The 2026 edition will be the most comprehensive yet, expanding beyond meat to include insights from the entire global food manufacturing sector.

The report will show how women’s representation has evolved since 2020 and highlight the actions driving progress toward the Food Business Charter’s goal of 40% female representation by 2035.

Data submission opens in January 2026, but now is the time to prepare. To take part, your organisation will need to complete the business survey between 6 January and 20 February 2026, capturing a global snapshot of gender representation and inclusion across the sector.

Data will be collected only from food and meat manufacturing businesses.

  • If your organisation operates in these sectors — complete the survey.
  • If you work with food or meat manufacturers — encourage your suppliers and partners to take part.

You can download the business survey now via the button below, to start preparing.

All data will be anonymised and consolidated, consistent with previous years, ensuring full confidentiality. Businesses across the sector are already preparing to take part — join them and help shape the future of our industry together.

You don’t need to be a Meat Business Women partner or Charter signatory to take part, but those who are will receive a dedicated benchmark report and exclusive insights.

If you have any questions, the Meat Business Women team can walk you through the process and help you get ready to participate. Contact us here.
