Technical Manager, Cranswick pls
Group Supply Chain Assurance Controller, Cranswick plc
I have a Master's degree in Food Science & Microbiology and have worked in food manufacturing for 22 years. I have experience in various sectors having worked in ready meals, biscuits, meat, and via the role I have at Cranswick. Also, a Fellow of Institute of Food Science and Technology, lead auditor qualified and a M&S Select Farm auditor for produce.
At Cranswick I am responsible for the vision and delivery of Cranswick supplier assurance system to ensure it is best in class, efficient and can delivery supply chain resilience & transparency.
What I find rewarding is seeing companies improve and progress. I especially enjoy helping those smaller companies who have the passion but not necessarily the budget sometimes needed for technical/regulatory expertise. My area of interest is food fraud, therefore the challenge is to reduce long, opaque supply chains.
Spotlight on Saiqa Aslam for MBW – terrifying but rewarding experience!
And I do love a good murder mystery.
