What is BQ?

BQ is Business Intelligence: Leading for Results

BQ is essential for effective leadership that drives results. High BQ leaders excel in business, strategic, and financial acumen, enabling them to achieve outcomes that align with their organisation’s strategic and financial goals. They are recognised for their success orientation and their ability to deliver sustainable results.

Workshop Content

This high-impact workshop, grounded in the research of The Leadership Compass book, will equip women in the meat industry with the critical BQ leadership skills they need to advance their careers and reach their full potential.

This interactive full day workshop will include:

  • The Role of BQ in Career Advancement: Why business intelligence is a key leadership skill.
  • Defining Business, Strategic Thinking & Financial Acumen: At every career stage.
  • Leadership Transitions: Developing the skills to lead people and businesses effectively.
  • Practical Exercises & Networking: Hands-on activities, discussions, and peer learning.

Why This Workshop?

Most career advice, including coaching, mentoring, and programs designed for women, fails to address the importance of BQ and how to gain these critical skills. As a result, women are often perceived differently and face barriers to readiness for more senior roles.

This workshop bridges the gap by providing practical strategies and real-world insights to help women navigate leadership transitions and advance their careers.
