Meat Business Women strengthens commitment to Australia with partnership renewed to 2028

Meat Business Women has renewed its Australian Territory Partnership with Australian Chair Stacey McKenna through to December 2028, continuing a successful relationship that has seen the organisation grow significantly across Australia.

The agreement marks the second renewal of the partnership and will see Stacey continue to lead Meat Business Women Australia, building on the strong community, partner network and programme of activity established over recent years.

Since taking on the Australian Territory Partnership, Stacey has significantly grown Meat Business Women’s presence and reach in Australia, welcoming 18 new partner organisations and creating more opportunities for women across the meat and wider food manufacturing industry to connect, develop and progress.

Under Stacey’s leadership, Meat Business Women Australia has delivered successful national conferences, industry study tours, awards, a behind-the-scenes Coles site tour and a growing programme of online masterclasses, networking and development opportunities.

Stacey McKenna, Chair of Meat Business Women Australia, said:

“I’m incredibly proud of what we’ve built in Australia and really excited about what comes next. We have a brilliant and growing community of women, partners and supporters who want to make a genuine difference across our industry.

“What I love most is seeing the impact that community can have – new connections being made, confidence growing and people opening doors for one another. We’ve built some fantastic momentum, but there’s plenty more we want to achieve. I’m delighted to be continuing our partnership with Meat Business Women through to 2028.”

Joanna Parnell, Managing Director of Meat Business Women, said:

“Stacey has been the driving force behind the growth of Meat Business Women in Australia, and we’re delighted to be continuing our relationship for another two years.

“Stacey understands the Australian industry, has built fantastic relationships with our partners and has created a community and programme that delivers real value for women working across the sector. Australia is an important part of our global community, and we’re excited about what Stacey and the team can build from here.”

The renewal provides continuity for Meat Business Women Australia’s members and partners as the organisation moves into its next phase of growth. The renewed partnership runs until 31 December 2028, with further plans for Meat Business Women Australia’s next chapter set to be shared with members, partners and the wider industry over the coming months
