The 2026 Gender Representation Report, powered by Meat Business Women

Take Part Now: Gender Representation in Global Food and Meat Manufacturing

Meat Business Women are currently gathering data for the third edition of the Global Gender Representation Report — the definitive global study tracking gender balance across the meat and food manufacturing industries.

And we need you to take part. Data submission is open now and closes on 20 February 2026.

The 2026 edition will be our most comprehensive yet, expanding beyond meat to the global food manufacturing sector. It tracks progress since 2020 and highlights the actions driving toward the Food Business Charter’s goal of 40% female representation by 2035.

How to Take Part

1. Complete the Business Survey

Food manufacturing businesses should complete the Business Survey, which covers organisational progress against gender inclusion milestones, along with the submission of gender distribution data.

  • If your organisation operates in food and meat manufacturing sectors — complete the survey.
  • If you work with food or meat manufacturers — encourage your suppliers and partners to take part.

The business survey closes on 20 February 2026

2. Take part in & share the Employee Pulse Survey with your connections

Please complete the survey yourself, and share it across your organisation and network to help us get as many responses as possible. We need the views of as many people as possible working across food and meat manufacturing, regardless of gender. The more responses we receive, the more accurate the picture will be.

Anyone who takes part has the chance to win one of 10 Amazon vouchers

The pulse survey closes on 9 February 2026.
