Farmers are under growing pressure to adapt to sustainability expectations. And new research from Pinstone shows that the way we speak to farmers about sustainability can either build great trust and engagement, or it can create resistance and disinterest.
We know how much of a balancing act this can be for anyone working in this space, so this masterclass is designed to help you strengthen farmer relationships, improve participation in sustainability programmes and communicate with better credibility and impact.
Hannah Lloyd will delve into the latest insights from Pinstone Pulse, uncovering the language, motivations, barriers and trusted communication approaches that shape how farmers respond to sustainability initiatives. She'll talk about the phrases that resonate vs the jargon that alienates to help you better understand the farmer mindset and how to communicate sustainability in a way that feels relevant, practical and commercially grounded.
Alongside this Sarah Haire, Head of Agriculture at Dunbia will present learnings from launching its Farm Green sustainability initiative, sharing how it is driving positive change and impact across its supply chain. She will cover what has worked for them to engage farmers and change behaviours and what hasn’t, drawing in examples from some of their work around carbon foot printing.
