Mental Health First Aid (MHFA) Masterclass

Two-part virtual series | 20 & 27 May 2026

Meat Business Women is offering a small-group Mental Health First Aid (MHFA) masterclass designed to build practical skills and confidence to support others in the workplace and beyond.

Facilitated by an accredited MHFA Master Instructor, this evidence-based training equips participants to recognise the signs of common mental health challenges and respond in a safe, supportive and effective way.

Course format

This masterclass is delivered as a two-part virtual program:

  • Part 1: Wednesday, 20 May, 1:00 PM - 3:30 PM AEST
  • Part 2: Wednesday, 27 May, 1:00 PM - 3:30 PM AEST

Each session runs for 2.5 hours and is designed to be highly interactive, with discussion, scenarios and practical application.

Please note:

  • Participants must attend both sessions to complete the course
  • When you register, the MBW team will automatically enrol you in Part 2
  • The course in in 2 parts.  E-learning and the facilitated sessions with the above dates. 
  • Pre-course eLearning (approx. 5–7 hours) must be completed ahead of the sessions.  E-learning will be sent to you via [email protected]
  • Active participation is required, including camera on during sessions

This masterclass is open to MBW members only and is suited to professionals across the meat and food supply chain who want to build capability in supporting mental health in their teams and workplaces.

Places are limited

To ensure a high-quality, interactive experience, participation is capped at 12 attendees.
